Genetically engineered foods are altered to increase yeild and profitability. But health questions have been raised and unlike Europe where GMO foods are labeled, it is not required in the US. So consumers need to avoid these highly modified foods for 100% organics; milk/diary products, oils, animal products, sugar and sweeteners, cereals and breakfast foods, fruits and vegetables as they are stimulated with growth hormones and other additives. Consider shopping from small farmers, look out for PLU codes and non-GMO seals and avoid processed foods. Grow your own food.
