A new website to help Wisconsin dairy producers improve milk quality has been launched by two professors in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The site offers latest information and supervisory tools for farmers to manage herd health and milking systems. The resources are not only for farmers but also available for veterinarians, extension agents, researchers and industry representatives. The Milk Quality website includes a section devoted to organic dairies. The website is updated weekly with featured articles and news releases covering various topics on milk quality. Spanish-translated educational materials are available on the site.
