The average conventionally grown apple has more pesticide residue on it than any other fruit or vegetable. A recent study has revealed that nearly 48 different kinds of pesticides have been found in 700 apple samples. Therefore, we are not quite sure what some of those pesticides do to humans or the environment. Many Farm owners and workers are preferring organic methods and they want live and work in safe environments. Even the farmers and workers gets infected by the harmful toxins of the pesticides. According to the USDA, in addition to the 81 percent of conventional apple orchards, which spray organophosphates on apple orchards, carbamates and pyrethroids are also used nationwide. Consequently, endangering the life of public and children living in rural areas.
