Stop Shaving To Help Save Water
June 5th, 2012 | Posted by in Organic HomeThe average shave uses 5 gallons of water. Recently, Budweiser started a campaign called "Grow One. Save a Million" to save a million gallons of water by encouraging people to abstain from shaving. You can easily participate in the campaign by simply clicking the "like' button on Budweiser's campaign page. You will be able to participate, submit and browse photos of beards-in-progress and amount of water saved to-date. Many Earth911 employees, both male and female, will banish razors for the next two week and save water. Our goal is to save as much water during this time in our home as well as office.
